Error following latest FT2 update

Hi Mike,

After updating to the latest version 2.2.2 I have the following error when trying to start FT2

"Have error initializing main form. Can not start application"

Any suggestions?

P.S. I have tried deleting the contents of the Data subfolders, templates, strategies, projects and indicators in case these were causing a problem but still the same error.

UPDATE:

I uninstalled FT2 and re-installed one I downloaded from your website. I copied back all my data, indicators, etc. and it is now working.

Is there perhaps an error in the auto-update process for the latest version?
I think I was using Ver. 2.1.5 prior to the update.
Did I miss a minor revision in between?
Could this be the reason for the error?

There is a strange problem - most of users do not have any errors, but few users reported us about such problems. Have no idea at this moment what it can be.

Anyway, you can just download update from the site and install it over your current version. It is safe, and all your settings and projects will be saved.

About revisions, each update is independent and can be installed over any version from 2.0 (so for later updates you will be able to auto update to version 2.5 from versions 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, it does not matter). So you do not need to track every update.

I suppose, that problem could be in Vista, we tested on the same computer - on XP it works great, on Vista fails, but another computer with Vista works fine...

If you have this error after updating through auto update, then just download new version from our site and install it over previous version 2.x (not 1.x - they are not compatible, you do not need to uninstall program, just install to the same folder with same installation options).
