Why 2.9 user need to pay for update for 3.0.

If just thinking abt this update,as far as we know 2.9 is good but its..too manual..to deal with..v3 bit fine..but there is price for it..why not 2.9 users gets free update to 3.0

Sorry, but according to our sales policy, there is a paid upgrade price for the new versions of our program.

You can read about that the FAQ on our site, here is the answer:
We provide minor upgrades for free. For example, after release of version 1, we issued versions 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 ... 1.12. You can have these upgrades for free and your registration key is valid for them. But to upgrade for a new major version 2 you need to pay an upgrade fee (that is not very big, ~25% of a new version price).
