Sync charts

Hi,

Sorry if this was discussed before, but after an extensive trial with the software and several searches in this forum, I haven't been able to find how to work with several charts in one window so they all move a synchronised; (e.g if I move forward 7 bars in the daily chart I'd expect for the weekly chart to move automatically forward 1 bar).
Your help would be much appreciated.

Hello,

All charts are synchronized in time during testing.
If you want to test a few charts of the same pair in the program then please add additional charts via File -> Add New Chart menu.
Then you can select a necessary timeframe on each of the charts.

If you want to see multiple charts on a screen you can use Window -> Tile Horizontally (Vertically) menu.

And then you need to click "Start Test" button and you will see the the current date and time on all these charts is the same so all the charts are synchronized in time.

Thanks for the quick response.
I see it wasn't clear in my question, but I was referring to working with several charts, (all with the same pair but different TF), in one window; but AFTER running the test.
It seems the synchronisation stops once the test is finished.

Thank you for the update.

Sorry, but our software doesn't have a synchronized scrolling feature at the moment, it will be added in FT4 version in spring 2019.

Hi! I just upgraded to FT4 and the charts of the same pair and different timeframe do not sync. I have a 1 hour where I draw a trendline, but it does not show up on the 5 minute. Is there a setting I need to activate?

Hello,

Yes, please activate "Copy paint tool when created to all charts with same symbol" button on a tool bar in the Forex Tester 4 program.
After that, all new paint tools will be automatically synchronized.
