Cannot find custom indicator after installation...

Hi all... Noob question; I have installed a custom indicator and the conversion process from MQ4 worked perfectly except I can't find my indicator after the fact in FT4 (4.2.0.51) anywhere. I ensured a custom name of the .mq4 file so as to not overwrite any existing indicators.

I restarted FT4 to no avail. Does the conversion process rename the indicator? What am I missing here?

Hello,

Please open .mq4 file of the indicator using Notepad or MetaEditor and find IndicatorShortName function.
For example:
IndicatorShortName('Average Daily Range Multiple Timeframes (ADR)');
A name in the brackets will be the name that is seen in the Forex Tester program in the Insert -> Add Indicator menu.

I'm wondering if the code on this particular indicator is wrong as I still can't find it post install.

IndicatorShortName( strMAType+ " (" +MAPeriod + ") ");

Thanks for the info.

Please check "Custom" section of the indicator the indicator should be called something like SMA(12) or maybe EMA(14).
If you still can't find it then please send an indicator file to us by email support@forextester.com we will check its name.
