Hello,
My version of MS Excel has been updated.
Since the update, I can no longer export my account history. Whenever I right click on the account history and hit 'Export History to Excel'. FT freezes up and I have to shut it down via task manager.
I've been able to export before the update so I think it's disconnect of sorts.
I'm running FT 4.2.0.61
Any advice would be helpful.
Thanks!

Hello,
What Excel version do you have?
Please try launching Forex Tester 4 program as administrator and try again.
If this doesn't help then I can only recommend you to export historical data into a text .csv file for now and then open this file via Excel.
We will try to investigate this issue on our side.

Re: Exporting account history with excel
Hello,
Thanks for the prompt reply.
I did run FT as the administrator. When I did that, I was asked to reactivate the program. That was no problem. The good thing is that after it was reactivated. I did receive a message I never saw before. The error was, "Can not export to Excel..." Please see the screen shot. As for the version of excel, it is Microsoft Excel for Microsoft (365 MSO 16.0.13901.20148) 32-bit
Tomorrow I will probably end up reinstalling FT to see if that fixes the issue.

Hello,
Thank you for the information and please let me know about the result.
If the problem still persists then the only way will be to export data into .csv file and then open this file via Excel.

Re: Exporting account history with excel
Hello,
Just an update. I reinstalled FT, no luck in fixing the problem.
I then reinstalled Office 365. After that, all seems to be working fine. I have a feeling it was Office 365 causing the issue. I often leave both FT and Excel open simultaneously. I believe an Office 365 update automatically occurred and disrupted something. I may be completely wrong
Thanks again.
