calculator for pip value and position size

i am new to forex only been studying for 6 weeks but i would like to know how to work out lot value and position size so that i can stay within my 1% parameter.if i use a forex calculator i get wierd ammounts of loss on my loosing trades .is this because the calculator is using present data but forex tester uses historical data .is there a calculator out there that will use my historical data to provide me with correct lot sizes for my 1% risk factor. i have been given link to trade pad dll and i have it in my strategy window but it doesnt seem to work any ideas anyone thank you

Hi moderator, can you send me the tool for position sizing too? May I ask why not include it within Forex Tester directly or made available for users to download simply, since it's free? save the trouble.
