How do I get FT5 time zone to mirror TradingView NY time?

#1 Postby gedw » Sat Mar 25, 2023 3:44 pm

Hi,

I'm trying to backtest using ICT methods and have recently signed up for FT5. As anyone who follows ICT will be aware, time is an extremely important factor when trading. We're taught to set the TradingView charts to 'New York' time, which seems to alternate between EST and DST throughout the year, so we don't have to change anything once 'New York' is set.

I am really struggling to get my head around the FT5 time zone system and get it set up so that it mirrors TradingView exactly.

Any tips?

Hello,

Please try creating a new project in GMT-5 time zone and activate "US DST" in the "Daylight Saving Time" drop-down menu.
This should help.
