Hello FXT4 Team,
Due to the enormous size requirements for those downloading historical tick data, it would be very helpful to run the application on the main hard drive which is typically optimized for speed, while storing the tick data itself on a separate drive such as an external drive.
Thank you,
Mike

Re: Please add the ability to store tick data on a separate drive
Hello,
Also, please make the tick data able to be accessed by multiple instances of FXT4.
If a user wishes to run a longer time frame analysis such as 2012-2019 to see the longer term trend, that may be run on one instance.
At the same time, to keep the sim moving fast, the user may be trading on the m1/m5/m15 using tick data and only want that instance to be a year or less of data. That helps all of the indicators avoid bogging down and running slowly.
The problem is that the data files are so large, that it is a challenge to download and store multiple instances to go with multiple FXT4s running on the same machine.
Please consider making the files accessible by separate instances.
Thanks!
