FT3: Range bar calculation looks wrong?

Why is it that the open of a new range bar is 1 pip higher than the close from the previous range bar? Shouldn't they be equal?

Close value of the previous range bar and the Open value of the current range bar will not always be equal, everything depends on the previous and current market price, if there is a difference, our software will start drawing a new bar from this price.
Please try to add the range bars chart with a bigger bar size (for example, 20), in this case you should see more correct results.
