Hidden Text when using copy paint tool

#1 Postby MikeT » Tue Jun 18, 2019 9:05 pm

Hello FXT4 Team,
Here is an interesting bug.
If you create an object such as text using the copy-paint across all timeframes button, and then you edit the text so that it is no longer visible on all timeframes, the text is still there, just "invisible."
Please see screenshots 1, 2, & 3 to see what I mean.
The problem with this is that when you put another object in that same area, you cannot select it, because the hidden text gets selected and seems to overlap the object you actually want to edit.
Best regards,
Mike

Hello,

Thank you for the screenshots.

That's how the program works at the moment, it doesn't delete the text, only makes it invisible on unselected timeframes.

I will ask our developers to fix this issue in the next program versions.

Great news! Perhaps they can set it so that if the text is "hidden" it is also "not selectable" so that it doesn't mask the objects a user does wish to select.
Thanks
