Hello,

Please try closing the program and starting it again as administrator, this should help to fix the issue.

In addition, please try changing a background color of the chart in its settings.

Thanks for the reply

running it as administrator didn't change anything and I tried different background colors without success

when I click the "rules" works but the cross hair doesn't show

Hello,

Thank you for the update.

Do you still have an original folder with the Forex Tester 4 program installed?

In this case you can go to this folder (C:\ForexTester4 by default), copy data\History, Projects and Templates folders and paste them to the new program folder.

In this case historical data, projects and templates will be restored.

OP, I am running into a simular issue on FT3 that I have been battling for a few months. I believe that your issue is not that the crosshair disappears but that the crosshair is not centered with your arrow and is moving in a different location on the screen. Judging from your screenshot it appears to be the same issue.

Unfortunately i have not found a sure fire way to resolve the issue. ive also installed ft3 on multiple devices and the issue will appear and then suddenly the crosshair will work like normal.

I was hopeful this issue may be resolved in FT4 but it seems that is not the case, hopefully support can help because the last few forum posts regarding this issue seemed to die without any real resolution from support.

I am only runnning 3 pairs, with 5 few moving averages and RSI indicator, one of the posts mentioned that this issue could occur due to having too much data processing at once which is why i am careful to only load a few pairs. I have even done this experiement with one pair loaded so i am doubtful that any of that has anything to do with the real issue.

Hopefully if nothing else this puts more attention on your issue.

Hello,

What operating system do you use? Do you use any Windows emulators?

Can you please send a project to us to email support@forextester.com so we can try to reproduce this issue on our side?

You can find a project in C:\ForexTester4\Projects folder by default

Actually Authrom I think you are right on the money what you said makes perfect sense and yes what I experienced is indeed the crosshair being off-centered

thank you for your insights
