Cannot change project start date

I have created new projects but every time I run one, FT ignores the start date of the new project and starts at the date of an old project. Any ideas how to fix this please?

Hello,
Can you please send a screenshot of the issue?
You can use Project -> Restart Project from Date option and then select a necessary start date there.
In addition, you can always check a start date of your current project via Project -> Project information menu.
