It seems to me that this is not correct. Here is why:

I have downloaded AUDUSD with August as the last month.

In the northern hemisphere it is still summer and there is still daylight saving time (DST). The following 2 entries denote the last minute of the previous week and the first minute of the new week:

Now I pick the same trading minutes (last minute of the week, first minute of the next week) in the middle of the winter, in the northern hemisphere there is no DST:

As you can see the winter time is +1 hour. - Well, GMT has no DST it is always equal in summer and in winter. This is why I expect the begin of the week and the end of the week to be the same in winter and in summer if this was really GMT.

What am I missing?

Forexite broker works in GMT+1 time zone in winter and in GMT+2 time zone in summer. We convert historical data from all brokers into GMT time zone.
Forexite brokers starts working at 00:00 in hsi time zone. So in GMT time zone Forexite broker starts working in winter at 23:00 and in summer at 22:00.
