CreateIndicator always returns zero in C++

this is in my Reset Strategy slowstoch=CreateIndicator(Symbol(),5,"Stochastic","30;10;10;High/Low");
printing it always gives me 0 value

what am i doing wrong?

though it seems to work now with "AUDUSD" instead of Symbol()

not sure why

also it is returning funny values from the GetIndicatorValue function that don't match the indicator values on the indicator I have in the info panel on the left

any thoughts
