Paid Job - Dukascopy Tick Data import

#1 Postby pthomas82 » Wed Jun 12, 2013 6:28 pm

Hi Support / Community,

Im looking for help to getting my dukascopy tick data into forextester with ticks generated (similar to the oanda http://forextester.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=387)

the csv data looks like:

Code: Select all

Time,Ask,Bid,AskVolume,BidVolume
21.05.2013 10:00:03.947,1.28689,1.28684,2.25,3.62
21.05.2013 10:00:04.861,1.28689,1.28685,3.00,2.07
21.05.2013 10:00:08.777,1.28689,1.28685,3.00,3.94
21.05.2013 10:00:09.356,1.28689,1.28685,1.50,4.13
21.05.2013 10:00:09.907,1.28690,1.28685,2.44,5.25
21.05.2013 10:00:10.446,1.28690,1.28685,3.19,5.25

I dont know if you will need to build a program to convert it - but to quantify 1 year of tick data is about 1.5gb , 5 years approx 6gb. So if it is a converter - it needs to handle that kind of data.

Please PM or reply in this thread if you can help - and what the $$ would be.

Thanks

Peter

You just have to export dukas files as HST format. In jforex below format column just change CSV into HST, that is all. Hope that helps and greetings from Colombia.

So, how should we import Dukascopy tick data eventually?
Thanks!

Hello,

You can't import tick data into Forex Tester, you can import only minutes historical data and then use these data in the program.

If you need real tick data then you can subscribe on VIP Data Service (you can read about it here: http://www.forextester.com/HistoryServi ... ption.html) and you will be able to download tick data from 2010 year which you can test in Forex Tester (you can see the full list of provided data here: http://www.forextester.com/data/FullDataList.html).
