Have used many different forex simulators in the past, but forextester online is by far and away the best backtesting software I've used. It has many unique features which stand out from the rest. Yet it remains the most user friendly of all. I love that it uses Tradingview as its platform. It makes it very simple to navigate and mark up my charts. What stands out the most is the ability to upload custom indicators and your own forex bot, and use historical data to determine how profitable those options might be over a length of time. Quality software. I would highly recommend forextester online to any serious forex trader and beginner.

Awesome software, I've been using forex tester since version 5, upgraded to 6 and now I'm on the online version. I love it, the new features are spot on, especially the prop firm stress testing along with the blind testing. I have dealt with this company for many years and backtesting on their platform has saved me alot of time as it has enabled me to see how effective strategies really are before risking my money in the market. You can easily do 100 trades to get a sample size in less than an hour, as opposed to taking weeks or months to get that data. All while sharpening your skills and training your eyes.

Best tool I've found for back testing forex! I am someone who strictly trades the forex market (mainly metals), so I purchased the tester with the basic data(23 years of 18 pairs) package. It's more than suits my needs. I found it not only met my expectations, but exceeded it! I had a hiccup at the beginning loading historical data. One visit to the sites FAQ section, and my problem was solved. The software itself, is very easy to use, plenty of information available to get the best utilization. I love that you can store and revisit saved projects, so you can test different strategies on different pairs. It does what I need it to do which is backtest in a simulation but treat it like its a live market. What more can I ask for?

An amazing product! 21 years of data, as an investment banker I find this tool to be MANDITORY to anyone that wants to venture a career in trading. One of my favorite features is saving different projects with different strategies. Money well spent!
