How to Export Trade History from NinjaTrader for Professional Analysis

How to Export Trade History from NinjaTrader

Step 1 

Access the Trade Performance window. From the main menu, navigate to New -> Performance -> Trade Performance, or use the Control Center to open the Trade Performance analysis tool.

Step 2 

Select “Trades” from the Display dropdown. In the Trade Performance window, ensure the Display dropdown shows “Trades”, not “Executions”, if you plan using Forex Tester’s free Trading Analysis tool with your exported Ninja trading history. We need complete trade data, not execution records.

Step 3 

Set your desired date range. Use the date selectors in the Trade Performance window to specify the period you want to analyze. You can select custom start and end dates to include all relevant trading history.

Step 4 

Export the trade data. Right-click anywhere in the trade data area and select “Export…” from the context menu.

Step 5 

Save your trade report. Choose a location on your computer to save the file. NinjaTrader will export the data as a CSV file (comma-separated values) containing structured trade information. Name your file descriptively and click Save to complete the export.
